Registration

  • The account on file is automatically charged a non-refundable registration fee upon completion of enrollment.
  • School Year Registrants: Single student registration is $40 and family registration is $65 for families who enroll multiple children.  Applies only to students enrolling in a class with space available; does not apply to students enrolling on a wait list unless a space becomes available and student receives a space in class.
  • Summer Registrants: Registration is $25 for students new to Ace; does not apply to students currently enrolled.

Tuition

  • Ace requires automatic bill pay via bank draft or credit card.
  • Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable and refunds will not be given for any reason.
  • School Year Registrants: Tuition comes out automatically on the 15th of the month prior (August tuition comes out on July 15th, etc.) and there is a $25 late payment fee for declined/expired cards or delinquent accounts which will be strictly enforced.
  • Parents who wish to pay with cash or check must do so by the 14th of the month, or tuition will be deducted from the account on file automatically.
  • Parents are responsible for tuition payments for the entire school year July 15th-May 15th.
  • Tuition rate is the same amount every month, regardless of how many classes fall within that month.
  • Parents are welcome to schedule makeup classes on their customer portal for absences throughout the year. Makeup classes must be in the same level or a lower level class and may be any dance style.
  • Summer Registrants: Tuition for the summer session is withdrawn directly upon completion of registration.

Withdrawal

  • School Year Registrants: To withdraw from a class, parents must email acedanceacademy08@gmail.com by the 14th of the month to discontinue charges to the account for the following month.
  • Summer Registrants: You may withdraw from a summer camp/intensive. No refunds will be given, however you will receive a full credit, minus a $45 administrative fee, to your account on file. The credit can be used at any point during the school year session, August-June. To withdraw, you must email acedanceacademy08@gmail.com prior to the start date of the camp/intensive.

Level Placement

  • School Year Registrants: Students must meet age requirement by September 1.
  • Summer Registrants:  Students must meet age requirement by July 1.
  • Students age 8 or older must be evaluated for level placement if they wish to enroll in levels higher than level White.
  • Returning students must evaluate to place in new dance styles.
  • Parents are required to contact the office to schedule an evaluation prior to registration.
  • Level placement is determined by Ace Dance Academy.

Studio Rules

  • Students must wear warm up clothes over their dancewear and street shoes when entering and exiting the studio building.
  • No food, drink, or gum in the dance studio.
  • A vacant studio is not to be played or loitered in.
  • If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late to class, the student may be asked to observe.  Without proper warm-up, students risk injury.
  • Students may not leave before class is concluded without prior arrangement with the instructor.
  • Students must be picked up on time after class. Ace Dance Academy is not responsible for students outside of class time.
  • Family and friends are always asked to remain outside of the classroom. This is beneficial for the student and class progression because it provides a safe and non-distracted environment.
  • Please keep conversation in the lobby positive and up-beat. Negativity does not provide for a healthy environment.
  • Please take cell phone conversations out of the lobby area.
  • The studio office and area behind the reception desk are private areas for faculty and staff only.
  • Please login to your customer portal to input your child’s absence if they will need to miss class. We highly recommend registering your child for a makeup class at the same time if space is available.
  • Ace Dance Academy is not responsible for personal property.
  • Ace Dance Academy reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
