Ace Dance Academy Faculty

Vera Schwegler trained in Southern California for 10 years in ballet and jazz before moving up to the Bay Area and shifting into modern dance. She graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelors degree at Saint Mary's College of California in English and Dance. While dancing with Janice Garrett and Dancers, she was nominated for an Isadora Duncan Award in Performance. She has also worked with Jia Wu Dance Theatre, Davalos Dance and is currently dancing for Dana Lawton Dances and kaneisee|collective. In 2011, she became a certified yoga instructor and went on tour in Scotland as the Assistant Producer and Technical Manager for Thrilling Heroics Productions. Ms. Schwegler has toured with her current dance companies in France, Ireland, Santa Barbara and L.A. She teaches at Saint Mary's College of California in addition to teaching her with her amazing Ace family!
