Ace Dance Academy Faculty

Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Jenny Hudson is an accomplished teacher, dancer, choreographer, and performer. She graduated Cum Laude from Santa Clara University with a BA in Theatre Arts, emphases in Acting and Dance, and was the recipient of the Quinn Martin Scholarship as well as the Outstanding Spirit and Service Award for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Jenny received her MFA from Mills College in Dance Performance and Choreography. As a founding member of Deep Root Dance Collective, Jenny produced and choreographed for productions in Berkeley and San Francisco, including Envoi which raised money for an East Bay literacy program. She danced professionally with Omega West Dance Company and was a featured dancer at the United Nations 60th Anniversary Celebration. Jenny enjoys performing with Tri-Valley Theatre Company and Contra Costa Musical Theatre. She graced the stage in the lead dance roles of Neleus (Mary Poppins) and Eliza (The King and I). Favorite shows include Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Cinderella, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Most recently, Jenny showcased her choreography talents for TVTC's production Rock of Ages, featuring sensational songs and movement from the beloved 1980s. Jenny enjoys spending time with her husband Matt and daughters Allie and Juju, both of whom love dancing at Ace. Jenny believes strongly in the positive impact of the performing arts and is ecstatic to continue sharing this passion as Co-Founder of Ace Dance Academy.
