Dance Instructor | BFA in Ballet Performance

Mallory Markham obtained her BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma. During college, Ms. Markham danced with both the Oklahoma Festival Ballet as well as Contemporary Dance Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma she was privileged to be under the tutelage of great dancers like Violette Verdy, Dudley Williams, Frederic Franklin, Helen Simoneau, and many others. Mallory also had the opportunity to perform in George Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15 as well as Merce Cunningham’s Inlets II. After graduation, she relocated to Columbus Ohio where she danced with contemporary ballet company, Columbus Dance Theatre, for a season before moving to the West Coast. Since moving to the bay area, Mallory has danced for and collaborated with various local companies and choreographers including Kristin Damrow and Company, Blind Tiger Society, Inside Out Contemporary Ballet, Garrett + Moulton Productions, Twisted Oak Dance Theater, The Anata Project and is proud to be a founding member of ka.nei.see|collective. Mallory looks forward to sharing her love of dance with the students of Ace Dance Academy.
