Artistic Director | BA in Dance

Megan began dancing at age 3 in her hometown, Phoenix, AZ and continued performing in several genres of dance through high school and into higher education. After graduating from St. Mary’s College with a BA in Dance, she began to pursue a career of teaching her passion by co-founding Ace Dance Academy. In addition to being an Artistic Director and instructor at Ace, she spent six years as a faculty member at her alma mater, St. Mary's, where she taught Tap and Pilates. She has served as a senior project advisor there as well as at Las Lomas High School. In addition to her dance training, Megan has trained in Pilates instruction at Turning Point Studios. Over the course of her fifteen years of teaching experience she has choreographed numerous musicals, including Urinetown and Anything Goes and she has traveled cross country to teach at Bates Dance Festival Youth Arts Program in Maine and at Happiness is Camping, a summer camp for children with cancer in New Jersey. Her performing credits include Davalos Dance Company, Deep Root Dance Collective and most recently she was a member of the Super Bowl 50 Pep Squad. Her enthusiasm for dance is contagious and she enjoys sharing that enthusiasm and her experience with all her students.

To dance is to be out of yourself.
Larger, more beautiful, more powerful.
