Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Jenny Hudson is an accomplished teacher, dancer, choreographer and performer. She graduated Cum Laude from Santa Clara University with a BA in Theatre Arts, emphases in Acting and Dance, and was the recipient of the Quinn Martin Scholarship as well as the Outstanding Spirit and Service Award for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Jenny received her MFA from Mills College in Dance Performance and Choreography. As a founding member of Deep Root Dance Collective, Jenny produced and choreographed for productions in Berkeley and San Francisco, including Envoi which raised money for an East Bay literacy program. She danced professionally with Omega West Dance Company and was a featured dancer at the United Nations 60th Anniversary Celebration. Jenny enjoys performing with Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre, Contra Costa Musical Theatre, and Diablo Theatre Company. She graced the stage in the lead dance roles of Neleus (Mary Poppins) and Eliza (The King and I), both with TVRT. Favorite shows include Hairspray, Cinderella, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Guys and Dolls. Most of all she enjoys spending time with her husband Matt and daughters Allison and Julianne, both of whom love dancing at Ace. Jenny adores children and is ecstatic to continue sharing her passion for dance as Co-Founder of Ace Dance Academy.
